Hi Evelyn,

You might want to check out Assisi Hospice service,
which includes Home care, but i'm not sure if this includes
pastoral care. Please check this link at "www.catholic.org.sg/catholic_directory_group_detail.php?GroupID=369" for more details.

I used to be a volunteer pastoral care helper in a Perth hospital where we visit the newly admitted patients to hand them a pamphlet containing some words of inspirational prayer and if they wish to request for a visit from a priest/pastor/rabbi etc for communion/confession etc. We are rostered daily and I don't see this service in the hospitals here.

Hi Evelyn, Joan, there are a lot of different churches that offers Pastoral Care. Depending on the requirement, you can contact the different churches that you attend or if you are not attending any, you may contact the Assisi Hospics at 63476448 and request for pastoral care assistance by the nuns or trained staff and all other religiious orders do offer pastoral care assistance too. God bless.
