Faith the Concert postponed

E-mail Print
SINGAPORE – Faith the Concert, a collaboration between Warner Music Singapore and Running Into The Sun, has been postponed due to the sudden unavailability in one artiste’s schedule.

The concert was originally scheduled for Jul 28 at The MAX Pavilion, Singapore Expo.

It would have been the first ever concert that brings together three world-renowned Christian artistes to Singapore – Sonicflood, Point of Grace, and Singapore’s own Corrinne May who now lives in Los Angeles.

The staging of this concert was the result of the success of the FAITH CD Series released in July 2008, April 2009 and February 2010, that have topped the Recording Industry Association of Singapore’s best-selling charts. Collectively, the three volumes of the FAITH CD albums have sold more than 30,000 copies in Singapore.

Ticket sales for the concert had been healthy and encouraging. Organisers say “the need for a postponement is disappointing for everyone – however, the overriding goal is to present a full line-up of performances to make FAITH a holistic and well-rounded experience for concert-goers, coupled with an extensive and diverse repertoire of songs”.

Simon Nasser, Marketing Director of Warner Music Singapore says organisers “hope to feature the same lineup [and] our next challenge is to meet all the artistes’ calendar availability for the same new date” and that they hope to announce the line-up and the new concert date within the next six weeks.

Refunds can be obtained through SISTIC.
