Archbishop Nicholas Chia will preside at a rededication Mass for the newly-reno- vated St Joseph Church (Bukit Timah) on May 1 at 10.30 am.Extensive renovations, lasting from May to December last year, saw the church fitted with air-conditioning and a projection system.
The frontage was also expanded without any changes made to the building’s iconic tower.
The cost of the renovations is $4.5 million. So far, $2.4 million have been raised.
Priests who have previously served at the church have also been invited to concelebrate the Mass.
