The CatholicNews, as the official newspaper of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore, shares in the mission of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ and His Gospel values by providing information, education and a forum for discussion. The Catholic News provides objective and accurate current information about the Church, both worldwide and local, received through wire services, news magazines and local reports.

Covering local parish news, current Vatican news, and news from around the Catholic world, well-researched articles on contemporary religious issues and popular syndicated columns of Catholic interest.

It is currently published by the Archdiocese of Singapore with a print-run of more than 24,000 copies per issue. The Catholic News commands a readership of approximately 70,000 Catholics as well as non-Catholics throughout the island.
